I get the same reaction in Darwin -
you know, Darwin is populated by transient people not people who were born here! And I, am a REAL Darwinian!

I guess it must be hard imagining our summer christmas : people taking their inflatible Santas and Christmas Trees down to the crowded beaches, swimming and having bbqs on christmas day, getting sunburnt and then the long twilight time when the water's still warm
