SYMPH - I had forgotten about Wonder Woman and her ability to
make herself invisible by pressing on a certain part of her wrist. When I was a child I pressed every part of my arms over and over trying to find that spot. I thought it would be so fun to be invisible. But, even then, I knew that I would not want to remain that way.

you get quite a bit of pocket money too............I have been doing karaoke with my cousin for five years we also do disco......we do dance rountines , sing and entertain..............we work for 4 hours a night on weekends (I have not gone back full time yet) we get paid £200...which is not bad when you are enjoying yourself............we can earn more in posh pubs and sometimes people give us extra anyway

I didn't realise karaoke was a way of earning a living. I'll have to find out more about that, maybe she could do it to earn extra pocket-money once she's old enough.

Yes, she does do karaoke. She enters competitions and things as well and spends a lot of time writing songs on her piano. She's only 12!

when I was younger I really wanted to do it professionally.....but then I started doing karaoke..and I felt that was hard enough..............and now that I have matured....lol...I would never want to be famous with all the stuff that happens...........I just like working doing karaoke ....but thats as far as it goes
maybe tell your daughter to do the same first.

Oh I love it too, I just prefer to do it on my own with nobody watching or listening! My daughter sings in public though, she would love to take it up professionally one day.

It works the opposite way with me. I can sing, but I would never ever do so in public, I just COULDN'T! I hate being the centre of attraction, I much prefer to blend into the background and watch from the sidelines. I hate parties and social gatherings, so I avoid them like the plague. I should have been a hermit!

lol...........if you knew me in real life you would be shocked at how quiet and shy I am.....thats why writing is my only way of expressing myself...actually thats a lie..as I said before I am not shy singing and dancing...
but I have two children and I have not felt any more confident...I was more confident when I was younger..........

I used to be very shy when I was younger but I'm a lot better now. I think having children helps you come out of your shell. Having said that, I'm still very much an introvert in 'real life', although I've been told I come over the opposite in a lot of my writing. Maybe it's the extrovert in me trying to get out!
