- Go to SOME CHRISTIANS BELIEVE WE DON'T HAVE A LOT TO LEARN
Or, you could look at it this way...
Who do you typically think is revered in the modern day world -- a guy on the electric chair, or a new mother and her infant?
The Catholics have simply kept the mother and child image strong.

Learning
Of course all learning did not stop in the 1st. century. However, all there is to discover is out there already, we as a people just haven't found it all yet. Yeshua told the original disciples as well as in His Revelation, "...I have fortold you all things". When studying parts of Father's Word for the 8th or 10th time (it is a never-ending process) I always discover things that I missed the last time around. That doesn't mean they weren't there. We learn new things everyday in all parts of our lives. They were there all the time, we just didn't notice them.

Good Post
For me........vs. 1 says it all - Knowledge puffs up, but Love builds up. Too often we fool ourselves into thinking we know it all - in reality we haven't even got a clue.

I am sure that he is thinking about his response to that. If he can actually come up with a viable (believeable) one remains to be seen. Good post!
