What was that "cup"?
Yeshua was not begging for His life, He knew who He was. He had so much love and compassion for His people, and He knew that at some future date He would be the "Rider on the White Horse" who comes and pours out the "Cup of GOD's wrath" upon the earth. He was searching for another way, and asking GOD if ther might be another way, other than destroying all who are evil at some point. He loves even the sinner who must one day perish. But all things happen according to GOD's plan, and ALL that is not called GOD will perish. As is GOD's will. "Study to show thyself approved...".
