Not, but apparently...
you can stumble across truth even when you are a bumbling idiot like me. I tried every configuration of calendars and calendar usage possible until I discovered this method. (And I didn't have to pay out the nose for their advice....though it probably tooke me a few years longer to figure it out than if I'd done their seminar. LOL)

You a member of the Franklin Planner tribe?
The Franklin prime tenets include having ONE calendar (maybe one primary one and a little satellite you feed back into the primary one with), and trash the others.
