Zephyr agree with you entirely the rating system here is nothing but a popularity contest.
I erased all of my blogs so that I could go down the ladder. My mind is undecided as to how much I will continue. I have found myself here when I had more pressing things like golf to do. Shame its raining now and I am wasting my time here.

I'm conflicted on this one.
On one hand, I definitely see your point; on the other hand, I sorta like the rankings. And I don't think it's anyone's place to say what "genuine web logging" is.
