this is a very sad story. but thanks for sharing. i remember my grandfather suffered from it.. he would chase me around the house with a broom accusing me of breaking into the house.. then swatting at the walls trying to make the ghosts go away.. i was young, and scared. i opted to stay away, i didn't understand it.

Poor guy
My friend used to live next door to an old German man (a former Nazi, actually) with Alzheimer's. He used to sit in his car in the driveway for hours and once tried to entice my friend into a game of catch, only to tell hin he threw like a girl. When my father was dying of brain cancer, his dementia began much the same way. Very sad.
