I am no against the copyright as such; I think that the way the author is protected is not actually protecting the author.

don't get me started on the ridiculous copyright laws in the Land of the Free. When a copyright extension act is sponsored by a man who directly profits from that act's passage then we have such an outrageous sense of just laws that it makes me sick. Copyright laws are hurting the culture... i must stop before i start foaming....tg
ps the man who so profited was Congressman Sonny Bono.
