I was just listening to the song (it's on my playlist on my computer) when I ran across your post. Eerie.

I know what you mean about how a museum can affect you. I felt it when I visited the national civil rights museum.

rgylford...great post. There's a forlornness about being lost at sea

(or on a great lake) that is particularly desperate feeling.  And Lightfoot wrote a good tribute as well.
