It is always good to back up your Blogit writing elsewhere to be safe since Blogit is not a substitute for a regular backup. We try our best to keep your writing archived and have now built in redundancies with the improved hosting etc. but there can always be unforseen problems.

Thank you.

Thank you sir!

I will investigate this. I think it is the result of some group luring me with the promise of free emticons. I will try some stuff here and it may be time to take my laptop in for some tuning.

My title bars are infested with all sorts of stuff I forgot comes with some of these deals.

Do I have to back up all of my blogit archives? Or do I just log back on when my computer gets back from the doctor?

Since you're having this problem at the same time as the other problem of having extra white space added below your comments, it is possible that you've downloaded and installed a third-party utility like Hotbar (for smileys etc.) which can have this effect.

Or, it is possible that you wrote this post in another application such as Microsoft Word and then copied and posted it into your blog along with all the formatting from Word. That would cause your font to be much larger than the default and would cause your text to extend beyond your screen thus causing horizontal scroll bars to appear. To remove the formatting before you paste your text into your blog:

1. Highlight the text. Choose Copy from the Edit menu.

2. Open Notepad. Notepad is in the Start menu, under Programs > Accessories.

3. Choose Paste from the Edit menu. The text will be pasted without formatting.

4. Highlight the text in Notepad. Choose Copy from the Edit menu.

5. Now, you can paste the text without formatting into the "Add post" page.

Hope that helps!
