On my part, I think it has to do with a morbid
fascination with the cruel and unusual things that the villian does and the more books I read, the more horrid the level of pain and perversion. What does that say about me? Twisted mind? 
The TV shows are another thing. I find them very informative and it's amazing the things we never notice and won't ever notice unless they are brought to our attention. Good blog.
