I never thought I could agree with anything Rush Limbaugh said, but I did agree with a lot of that. I suppose the only argument I could present on military personnel families vs. families of terrorist victims would be that those in the military actually choose to put themselves in harm's way. But that argument still doesn't make me think that their families are entitled to less than those of terrorist attack victims, so I guess it's a moot point. I see my mother stuggling to live on Social Security and a part time job, anxiously awaiting turning 65 so she can qualify for Medicare. It's frustrating and disheartening. I think I'll run for Congress so she'll never have to want for anything.
