children are good
by nature, our innocent nature, unspoiled by lies and deceit. Truth is in the Child, but we, following tradition of religious indoctrination, spoil that Truth and tell children they are only "good" if they love Jesus. How many times are children told to 'be good" realizing what it means--that the child is not good, but must become or act, in pretense, good.
If we destroy our world through war and greed, who will there be to "guide them and nurture them to their good potential?"

Yes, but they need the right guidance and nurture to develop to good potential.
