Okay, I can't even read this without freaking out.
I'll kill them....all of them, anywhere I have to. Only because I have severe arachnophobia and won't be able to sleep. I have panic attacks over the little things, it's awful. I would love to be able to pick one up ::: shudder ::: and move it. At the place where I volunteer, a cat sanctuary, I have to deal with them regularly and it never gets easier. My boss detaches the web and moves it. There was one on my shoulder Saturday! AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! There is a orbed garden weaver just outside my window in a tree. He's big and facinating to watch....and outside the window.
So, I did a little research on spiders to see if there are any to really worry about. I am in SoCal too, San Diego. There are only two in Cali, really the U.S., to worry about. The black widow and the brown recluse. Both are shy and not quick to bite. The brown recluse is very shy and lives in dark places. The ones in your house are harmless in the way of venom. Great, now I'm all creeeeeeepy crawly. :p

I dont blame you Taps!! I think I keep the daddy long legs around because they can't puncture human skin, and they eat the other spiders... hee hee
