thanks for your response
I got your email but my mail is having a delivery problem so I couldn't respond that way. I thought your answer was very good. Yes, I am Catholic, born and bred, and I'll die that way! I'm from a huge family(17) and I have 7 kids myself. I went to the University of San Francisco( don't hold that agaist me) and I'm a stay at home mother teaching some of my kids at home. Blogging lets me revive old brain cells. Thanks for your writing. It's the best stuff on here.

Can I make a suggestion? Would you consider writing something on the vocation to the religious life? I would like to read about that and it would be great to see this topic out there as it is so misunderstood. I have 6 sons and I'm interested in fostering the openess to possible vocations. I'd appreciate any ideas about that.

Peace,
Margaret

Friar Tuck, are you there?
I have a question for you regarding someone else's post and comments I was just reading. Her contention is that even if one lives the life of a Christian, if he has doubts about Jesus as his personal savior then he is damned. Could you read my comment and maybe reply back here or there as to whether I'm in sync with Church teaching? I don't wanna be a heretic or, at least, a bad spokesperson for the Faith. Peace to you. Have a great day!

It is
... but the "Pharisees" didn't look at it that way.

Isn't compassion born of true holiness?

I wish it were true...
the part about being full of peace.  But I do struggle for some equilibrium in life.

You are blessed to be so full of peace and comfort.
I have known this feeling in the past, when I was not harried by toddlers.  However, they have their own advantages - we can love them in person.
