Fictional characters get names.
What should I have called him instead?
Should we rename Peter Pan when we talk about him because he is fictional?

In my views you are the one who is blind. That is part of what beliefs are all about though.

You are new here so I will go easy on you and explain that if you wish to debate with me, please use facts and such. Just telling me that God loves me and all the other stuff you said, is what so many others have done already. I've heard it all before I still don't buy it.

Feel free to make comments, but understand that I will just blow off anything where all you say is 'God is real dan God loves you' because I do not beleive it.

It might be good for you to go back and read some of my older posts to get a good idea of just what I do believe.

Using the name GOD - to say he doesn't exist

How can something you defined in your argument to have a name not exist.  If God was non-existent then why call him God?

You made a comment that "Which is another assumption made by so many. Because I do not believe in God or the Bible I must be some awful, hate-filled man who commits crimes and does all manner of evil"   - but no you are not evil, you are just blind to the truth by the lies of the enemy and deceptions of this world.  YOu think you don't need God, that you can make it without him, and that is how you have been blinded.  God is amazing!  He is madly in love with you!!!! and desires a personal and intimate communion with you.

Well said.  I hate the idea of "blind faith" I guess; people who don't do some amount of questioning... well, I feel sorry for them.  But you certainly can't hate someone for their beliefs or lack thereof.

I, for one, don't believe that people who don't believe in God are hateful people.  In fact, some of the nicest and kindest people I know do not believe in God.  Some non-believers I know are "better people" than some believers I know.  huh
