I've mentioned reincarnation, I think, in the context of Universal Salvation.
By this, even Hitler, or the most evil fiend, will be saved. It hinges on the passage "It is god's will that all be saved."
And who can thwart God's will?
Although we really know nothing really past this life, existence, or reality which we commonly experience (are there exceptions? -- I mean during a lifetime) there is a case, I believe for reincarnation.
I view this lifetime as a sort of "boot camp" -- where we are being prepared for something subsequent.
Whatever that something subsequent is????? -- -Paul said something about someone being transported to a "third heaven" ???? - is that right?
Anyway, reincarnation says we come back again and again until we get it right and are ready for the next step, whatever that is -- then maybe there are steps beyond that -- maybe we go through several lives in the several steps -- nobody knows.
And that's ideal really, nobody knowing what lies beyond this life, for then we realize that this is all we have -- really -- whether there is nothing or whether there is the classical Heaven or whether there is reincarnation (as animals? -- seems doubtful -- right?) -- the fact still remains that it all hinges on what we do here and now.
