I'd say no he doesn't get it, and yes he's trying to wind you up! Take it from one who's putting up with the same basic crap.
As far as growing balls...well, I suck in that department, too. Um, that sounded bad.
Someone probably already told you this, but I suggest you start out slow. Practice saying "NO" in front of the mirror until you get comfortable with it. Say it to the cat. Then work your way up to the mailman (unless he's cute or has a nice derriere). Eventually you'll be able to tell just about anyone to fuck off!
I've only worked up to the mailman myself.

I did check and it says "missed call", and " caller withheld"

Good idea! Also, I think if a number does show up, she should either try calling it to see if it was a wrong number and/or write the number down somewhere safe.
Sounds spooky, but it could be a message coming through that way, too.

I think the best thing to do is to get enough courage to check the phone 'most recent calls' if there is no recent calls from last night and an 'unavailable number' then you know something is spooky and then you could go from there.

Of course you're not crazy! You are simply becoming more aware that there are worlds out there over and beyond our human existence. It probably helps that you kicked that man out. (He is still gone, isn't he?)
