I agree with you wholeheartedly!

Guys and gals, it's time to stop whining about how little we make around here, and time to start promoting this place. One tip I use is to include my BN affiliate link with my email, as a sig line. Therefore, plenty of people see my sig line on a daily basis - whenever I reply to an email or send one out onto an active email list. Since these emails are a part of the lists' archives if I have emailed to a list, Bingo! Free publicity like that stays around for quite some time. Newbies come in and start reading through the archives and find that I have that link.

Another is to simply ask friends and family to join up. Still another is to mail out your blogs shamelessly to those who might be interested; if you review a book, send the link to the blog to the publisher, or better yet, send that publisher your affiliate link and give the publisher permission to quote your review in publicity materials for that book.
