Everything CHANGES
Nothing ever stays the same - eather you change with it or get left behind. Roofpig - most likely - both of you changed. The key is ......to know yourself ....who you are and who you want to be and to keep close to you .....people who want the same things. That way you canall change together ....for the better.

thank you for sharing......my friend I had known for years as well, we even lived together at one time, but we grew up and got our own life, and each time we visited eachother I did not like her views, because she has a very narrow mind and gossips about everyone and puts people down ........she started to do this to me behind my back too, but the last straw came was when she told people where I was living when nobody is meant to know because of situations........she has changed and I know longer speak to her and I do think of our memories but that is just what they are..............................

I totally know what you mean. I was struggling with a decision to invite this guy to my wedding because he was a really good friend of mine freshman year of college, but as time went on he changed and became a lot more obnoxious and arrogant. Then he had the temerity to call me an asshole to my face and tell me that I was the one who had changed. I really want to remain friends with him, but I only want to be friends the guy he used to be freshman year, not the person he became.
