I asked Ody the question again in ne of his posts and this is the reply.

"When you referred to how you look within yourself you used the term “junk”. The introspection has to be more sincere, reverent, and sacred. It cannot be half-hearted. The inner strength that you see there is God integrated into yourself. Get to know it and nurture it. Slowly you will see, but you must be diligent and always sincere. I hope that we can resurrect our debates. I hope that all is well with you. Thanks for commenting."

It backs up my idea that you create God yourself if you can only find God by looking for God and already believing you will find God.

I know my inner strength is not God, but me.

You said 'you don't find it it finds you.'

There is a meaning there that does not agree with the ideas of my post. I beleive that you do find it if that is what you really are looking for and if that is what you wish to find. I will never find it and it will never fidn me because I am not looking for it.

He never gave one.

It is often the way things go. As soon as I ask a real question that they can not answer, all the believers who normally have all the answers vanish.

One of the big ones is when they tell me my logic is flawed or that I am twisted facts and I ask them to show me examples. Some times they come back and say everything or that is it just so and they do not need to show nay examples, but most of the time they do not follow up. I have yet to have one of them point out where I use flawed logic.

Rev

You mentioned that you asked "Odysseus" (?) why you can't find God inside but you didn't mention what his response was!

Just curious.

Looks like you understood my post.

West, Gheeghee

My point was that if I am not looking for God, then God is not going to be found by me and it is ovbvious to me that he is not looking for me.
You create God when you feel you need to find him. It really is that simple.

God isn't inside you or anyone else--I hope. If he is, let him out.
Btw, let me know when that cliche book comes out Ghee.

what westwend said...
God will come knocking on your door.  The question is, will you answer?  (oooh, good one.  I should write a book of cliches.  Hahaha!) love, ~GG~
