Comments on Aliens As God

this is interesting though

is it true or is it imagination?

there are so many explanations and so many people believe each.

your idea (Chariots of the Gods), can be more valid than "angels"

problem is we don't what they meant by angels then

the Cherubim were bulls with the heads of men and tails of lions -- seen on the gates of Babylon -- like griffins and other fantastic creatures (all can be found in the Dungeons and Dragons Monster Guide).

so Cantey and PIMP, what's the difference between our angels and Hindusim's "gods"  - our devils and those of hinduism?

I know the answer before you give it - I was told that once.

Genesis is an interesting book -- a compilation  of stories in which the LORD appears in different ways.

as a man many times -- so why not now?

what happened back then?

we will really never know -- the writers and storytellers before them sort knew.  We just misinterpret what

s goingon there.

Very good points here and interesting ideas to ponder!
Hey, ya never know, maybe we've lived a few lives in what our present time calls the future and we reincardated back to this period of time just for the experience. I believe it's possible, however, that could also alter "history"... if it's possible, then maybe there really isn't ever real history. It could all just be a constant changing cycle in time. Wow, now I'm sounding like a Twilight Zone episode!

They bred with human women ( great line)
by possesing the bodies of men just like Hollywood unwittingly depicts in the Excorcist, therby mating with them and transferring their spirit into the offspring and creating a triune abomination. Yes I think God created the universe with earth with the origonal sponser of life life but man was to spread out and populate the rest of the universe ( replenish the universe) because their was no death and we would need room.

oops...
...I meant 'extra-dimensional.' Shocking spelling, I apologise.

From Another Realm?
Okay, we agree on that at least. I say it's simply 'out there', physically, which would indeed make them aliens as we use the term today.

Or are you referring to a 'ghostly' extra-dimentional type of realm for your angels/nephilim? Because if you are; how did they breed with human women?

They were physical beings, therefore they had to come from somewhere equally 'real'. And that makes them aliens, no matter what label you attach to them.

Do you really believe a God created this enormous, ancient Universe but only populated one speck of dust? That's scarier than aliens for a start.

PS. Thanks, Kooka.

they werent aliens
they were half man, half angelic beings. Giants. but they were aliens ( the angels who had sex with human women) in the sense that they were from another realm of existence.

And There Were Giants In Those Days.
Like the horrible story of the harlot by the side of the road, the Nephilim is one of those 'don't-think-about-it-cos-your-head-will-hurt' areas of the Bible. Genesis 6:4, Numbers 13:33, etc. Read it and see.

Lots of ancient cultures insist that 'gods' taught us civilisation. They also say these gods were physical beings that had to be waited upon, looked after and generally pampered. They lived and died among people - but they were not human.

So they were aliens. They came from elsewhere (in space) and sure enough we are told angels and Nephilim did in fact 'fall to Earth.' It's blatant!

That is what I am trying to do

Your writing is improving. Your question, "How hard would it be for a person from this time to travel back in time and convince a group of people several thousand years ago that you are God?", is thought provoking.
