I know of your plight, and being a single mum is a very sad and truly awful life to live. A real pain in the heart.

I won't be sad
I'm a single mom but I don't expect Mother's Day to be sad. My baby will be 7 months old then (she's my only child) so she won't be able to buy me gifts or take me out to lunch. But she will make me happy by just being. She has made me a mother, what more could I want?

Here's one single Mom who appreciates reading this! Today was a tough day, indeed, but there is no gift anyone could give me that would equal the joy of a day spent with my kids.
