I never thought about the name thing before. That would be horribly frustrating and I can see I wouldn't have had much patience for writing. I guess I was born in the right time!! : ) ~ A. Winters ~

Sounds hellish and I do remember...
days when we had no computers at work, just plain old typewriters. That was a pain, so I can only imagine the horrors, you described, for a writer of that time.

I love the time line......My dad used to write on a typewriter, I got allowance from proofreading his work. I understand what you're saying about just sittin gdown and writing at the computer (sometimes), but for me I really like handwriting my work and typing it in later. Something about the flow of my hand brings it out of me better.
