Cass, always happy to provide a little weirdness. :)
It's like I said before, I don't take credit for my writing all the time.  My muse works through me.  That's why I write at all, why I share it, is sometimes it helps other people think or sort something out.  I love that.  Thanks for your thoughts and your support, as always, Cass.  Oh, I'm still desperately behind and only popping in for moments here and there, but I hope your date goes well.  You deserve it.

kid cargo, it's true, we are always better for having had the journey...
...even if it was brutal and rough and lonely, and even if it wore us down, in the end I'd like to believe it makes us a more beautiful person.  Getting through it without losing our noodles is the challenge. ;)

Temple, this is a post I will read over and over again. At first reading, I find it has actually put some of the recent events in my life into perspective. Discovering this through your post is really weird. Take care Temple, you know I think about you.

sometimes we're that Japanese fishing globe that washes up on the American
side of the Pacific.  In the fisherman's eyes it was lost at sea but after drifting great distances with the currents it makes a nice addition to a mantle for whoever finds it.
