1. Blog popularity rankings, as shown on each member profile, are based on the number of unique readers each day for the past seven days, and are calculated daily. 

This benefits blogs that are updated regularly and consistently attract readers. "Unique readers" means that no matter how often someone reads a blog, they are only counted once when the rankings are calculated. The purpose is to ensure fair rankings by allowing each person to only "vote" once.

Secondly, Most Popular Today is based on the past 24 hours, so it changes rapidly. For instance, say that all of the readers read a certain blog 23 hours ago. After two hours, that blog will not even appear in Most Popular Today, since no one will have read it in the past 24 hours.

2. You seem quite popular to me since your two blogs are ranked 763rd and 800th out of tens of thousands of blogs currently on the Blogit site.
