I researched Sylvia Plath
for a research paper in high school. If I remember correctly, his second wife also died of suicide. Quite a coincidence, don't you think?

Plath is one of my all-time favorites. Ted Hughes is a bastard. Love, Gina

mia, very good. good use of literature to point out
the art of Plaths life. writing homages to those who inspire us is a good practice and sometimes we just need to say thank you. In my garbage can blog back in March I guess I wrote one to Jack Kerouac.

Just my thoughts . . .
(and you know I'm allowed too many thoughts in one day
)
I liked the format and simplicity of the first one better (But you probably already know that -- from my comment to that first poem: "So sad! Beautifully done!") But that's just my personal taste.

Wow, a very nice Plath poem!
I'll have to check out your other poem and get back to you. I've got to give my daughter some medicine, she got sick because she put the kitchen sink sponge in her mouth. It was dirty! Yuck! Take care:)

I enjoyed this very much. It has a rythm all its own. Strong phrasing and imagery.
