Thank You
And don't worry, I never took any of it personally.

Some of what I have written in our debates
has been worded harshly. This is a result of passion for what I believe and I hope you don't believe that it reflects a lack of respect for you personally. You are one of the ones here that has helped me clarify my beliefs. I am thoroughly convinced that God makes sense, but religion is very confusing. Your truth is very solid kooka, we just don't agree on the source of it.

This is your best post kooka!!
Wonderful.  I believe that closed mindedness is based in fear and God does not gives us a spirit of fear.  For a lot of my family in Christ, it is easier to be told what to believe.  It is easier to look at the Bible and believe that it is all there is to know, than to risk going against the tide and learning for yourself.  If God is as infinite as I believe Him to be, how can all that there is to know be contained in a little over 2000 pages.  We need some more of Paul's boldness without Saul's bias.

This is an excellent post
-people have to be open enough to seek out a spiritual understanding that they can embrace fully. Great job!

Kooka
My spiritual growth stemmed from a very bad thing in my life.  I grew spiritually by wounding my soul over and over again, STILL am growing.
