Linking text
I just wanted to add that if you type some text, highlight the text, and then click the link button on the toolbar, the highlighted text will become linked. For example:
My favorite site
I think this is what you want. If you still have difficulty, please let us know.

Temple, the Explore link allows you to view the new Blog List pages -- if you have dozens of blogs or people or links you're adding to your lists to share with other members -- as explained in the News post on these new features here.
A few of the Blogit members who had used HTML to modify their blog/template may see things not working as before because of the template upgrade we've put in place. We've tried to explain what you can do to fix these in an earlier News post here.
The easiest way to add links as we outline on the Help page, Formatting, Links and Pictures:
If you're using version 6.0 or later of Internet Explorer for Windows, you'll see a word processor-style toolbar on your Write a New Post page.
Note that if you are using Windows and don't see a toolbar, you can download the latest version of Internet Explorer for free.
To your final point, yes we agree as we posted here.
Hope that helps!

Brian
