I am finally in a place where I want to go through the growth necessary to overcome my anger and resentment. (Didn't know it showed that much, but then, I'm finally in a place where I can admit to it.)

I'm sorry you lived such a horrible childhood...
maybe with the help of this journal you can get to the root of your feelings and hurt where this is involved and overcome your anger and resentment from that time...maybe then you won't feel so alone.
