- Go to Bill Cosby vs. Black America - The Battle of the Millennium
I live in Memphis and last week I visited the National Civil Rights Museum for the first time (a shame on my part, I must admit). Being something of a history buff, I was familiar with much of the information presented, yet I was still moved. Confronted by the harsh realities of "the struggle" not only left me with profound feelings of debt and gratitude for those who fought, but also feelings of shame. Countless people of the generation before gave their lives and the generation today doesn't know and even worse, doesn't care. They are squandering the opportunities that others died to have. I was sickened and disgusted. Bill Cosby was right and I'm not ashamed to say it.
