Yeah Officer's wives butt in on stuff that don't concern them but I think another reason behind cracking down on it is because of disease (though majority of diseases are spread within units) and to keep the servicemembers from squandering their money on juicy girls. There aren't a whole lot of places like that in Uijongbu but up at Camp Casey (TOngduchon) they have tons of jiucy girl bars. There are so many soldiers married to ex juicy girls up there. Everytime I go to Camp Casey and I meet a dependent, she's usually a Russian or Philipino that used to work in one of those bars. Kind of gross that GIs are willing to take home prostitutes to meet their mothers, but hey, I can understand the inclination when they're lonely and far from home.
