Well now you just got mis-placed girl, you were meant to be a teacher here in snow country.
We love teachers here, and need 'em badly.
So what about the snow, heck it;s only from about October to April, and that's terrific because ya don't need an excuse to be inside at the computer blogging.
You'll see when ya come and visit, ya just will fall in love with the place, and no earthquakes

Nevada is great
Definately dry heat, very little snow. I'm talking about Fallon, Nv. Its the home of Top Gun, and the jobs there pay pretty good. It sits one hour from Reno. We moved from there just two years ago and I miss it. We decided to come home to Pennsylvania, or rather my hubbies home. They always needed teachers in Fallon.
