You think you're bad?
There is no such thing as a crazy cat lady! If you think you're bad,
I've blogged a series on my little Sox! (ie : Confessions of a Domestic Goddess.) This entailed following Sox around and really trying to get into her head. It also meant writing down all her little quirks and deciding why she did them. Read it if you get a chance. Fiona

Like you said Quirky
we don't always see eye to eye on all the details, but we think alike in many ways. I'm a dog lover, but do not hate cats, I just never had them around it's always been dogs. My last one was Ebony and was with me for 16 years, two years longer than my ex-wife, so that should tell you something. Of course she would still be here, but passed away last November after taking me on one last short walk around the house. I find animals much easier to love than people. And their love is so much more uncomditional than people. The help is here anytime I can be of service contact me.

Hunky, I'm glad you like cats...I prefer to think I
don't "own" the cats; in these parts we call pets "animal companions." Pity me now or later...

I love cats too even if I never owned one. I used to be a part of an operation in Thailand and Manila that produced Snappy Tom. Poor tunas.

You-look-fab, I like coming home and having everyone waiting to greet me.
I love my fur-covered angels and don't care if people think I am nuts, because they make me happy.

Oh yeah, I remember how empty the house was once when the cats
were getting fixed up at the vet and had to spend the night there. It was awful.

hermit, unconditional love is certainly one of the greatest plusses
when comparing animals to humans...though I think my cats might have one teeny tiny condition wherein they might seek another's love...it's that little thing called food, which appears in their bowl every day, lol.

Quirky, yeah, but there's this hot little orange kitty down the street who
has her eyes on him and she's just waiting for him to pass the bar before getting her claws into him...I still think I might take the chance...I don't think the little kitty can defeat this kitty!

unconditional love
I too am a cat person. I believe that domestic animals -- and maybe animals in general -- are much more reliable in their loyalty and affections. My cat is not coy about his love; it is given freely and generously. He doesn't care what I look like, what I'm wearing or what mood I'm in. He just simply loves. This cannot be said for people, who always attach conditions or qualifiers to their attention and affection. I live alone in the jungle, but my cat provides plenty of company and friendship. I don't miss people all that much.

laws, I'm marrying Mr. Hobbes, my tabby. I don't care if I am married. I'll move to Utah.
