Thank you for your advice. I think I will alert Gomedome to the post; unless he's already read it and had nothing to say. (Maybe that would mean I made some sense to him.) Ariala and I both appreciate Gomey for who he is, but this post just seemed a bit jugemental toward us. Besides, Ariala and I actually have a few different beliefs or views on certain issues, but ya don't see us posting blogs insulting each other because of it. We can (as others) add our points of view in a mature and benign discussion. Sometimes, that way, poeple may actually learn something about the other point of view, too!

I definately see where you are coming from. Although spiritual views tend to closely resemble those of Gomedome, I always respect the views of those that differ from mine. I myself have a hard time with someone either trying to change my views, criticize or mock me for them. So I absolutely see your point. I hope he sees this post; and in the future, acts appropriately towards you, Ariala and others.

would like him to read it, though. Regardless if it sheds light on anything or not, it made me feel better to defend myself and clarify the wrongs he wrote.

Ariala, actually, I don't think I'd take Gome with me
on an investigation cause he'd bring too much negativity, however, you're right about maybe seeing it with his own eyes and experiencing some of it, maybe he'd go a bit lighter. But, as you well know, I'm not out to prove anything to anyone. That post just really bugged me cause I felt we were not only targetted, but also made out to look like we were naive, ridiculous, and one-sided. Anyway, glad ya read it. Wonder why he hasn't commented??

I found it, read it, and didn't comment. There's no sense in it. You've
done a good job here and I sense a resistence in Gome that can't be penetrated at this time.
You're right, I do respect other people's religious convictions, but don't care for people with an attitude who try to make people of "faith" look ignorant.
What gets me is that you confront these entities all the time...perhaps Gome needs to come with you on these ghost busts, but I find some people can't be convinced even when the thing they say they don't believe is right there in front of their eyes.

His post was called "A message for Ariala, Spitfire70 & other ghost believers" I suppose you could find it if you type your name into the search thingie. Anyway, I know your beliefs and I have respect for all beliefs different than mine. Except when it's thrown in my face, of course. I'm not Wiccan, (I'm a trad witch) but I don't hold anything against Wiccans or any other type of witch; just the same as I don't with Christians, Buddists, etc. Basically, you and I have respect for others' beliefs. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Gomedome was kinda over the edge on this one. It surprised me! I too, have respect for him and usually enjoy reading him, but man, I kinda felt as if me and you were targetted for the attack.

Excellent rebuttal, my friend. I hadn't read either your post or his, so
thanks for pointing them out. I didn't see where he was directing the info to us specifically. (Our names weren't mentioned or if they were, did he take them out?)
Although I respect Gomedome, I completely disagree with him on issues of spiritual matter. I've decided to no longer try to reason with him about them or fight my cause in his comments section. You and I both know what we've experienced, even though you interpret the energies differently than I do. Still, we know they're there. I take a very scientific interest in metaphysics and spirituality, and am offended that anyone thinks differently about me. I'm not some ignorant, stupid Middle Age witch hunter, as you already know, and anyone who tries to make Christians, Wiccans or anyone else look delusional is, in my opinion, closed-minded and blind. .
