I heard on the news today that a gay couple who married, is having problems
getting a divorce...........because there is debate over whether their marriage is valid. If they are not really married then they cannot get divorced.
One activist was on one side saying Gay Marriage was all about sex, while a Gay Activist was saying that society is trying to hold them to a higher standard than heteros.
Can't we all just get along, and learn to Live and Let Live? Is that such a complicated concept?!!
Whammie
Oh, yeah, and have a great trip! We'll miss you............

hey Taffy!
Please read my blog series Let My Gay Friend Marry! in News and Politics. Karen's story puts a human face on this issue and proves (at least to me) that Jesus would not have condemned gay marriage if he knew all the variables. Remember, his anger was directed at a corrupt and unreasonable religious system. Forgiveness, tolerance, love....and what do we have now? The same inflexible and greedy religiosity Jesus suffered death to change. As to the law--we have separation of religion and state, something I am sure the Christ would support in modernity. Gays have a civil right to be happy like the rest of us.
As to straight marriage--love my husband, but oh.....men are such slobs! What is up with that?

Im glad it worked out for you... I am against the idea of finding someone online.... It seems unreal to me, I dont know why, Id rather have the person there where I can see them everyday, talk to them, just tease them etc..
