food and whine

Thomas,

It's often been said that to enslave apeople you have to make them want to be in bondage. Advertising and the media have made near willing supplicants of many people.

And they wonder why there are so many fat people in the USA. Maybe their bodies are starved looking for nutrional value. When you control the food supply-isn't that being a god? Give me a tequila.

In answer to your question wolfie, not a damn thing. And before this world turns into a pit of  such choices we have to start acting like mankind is part of earth and not some isolated overlord

Today Bier, Tomorrow Das Welt!
The problem is that once we start accepting GM foods, what's to stop us from accepting GM babies in the near future? Suppose Mom and Pop were able to their children to meet their expectations. If they want their son to be the next Einstein, a little snip here, a little DNA-tweak there, and presto! The truly frightening thing is that it's already being done on a smaller scale with animals. Oh, and for those male supremecists out there...parthenogenesis (birth without sexual reproduction) works in mice...scientists were able to produce healthy baby mice using only maternal genetic material on April 21, 2004. We may just have GMed ourselves onto the "extinct species" list. Better make mine a double, while I'm still here!
