I work with local
artists here. You should have photos and slides of all your work. Many shows want only slides, in this case it sounds as if he would like to see some of your actual paintings. Get a picture portfolio at an art supply store that is big enough for your largest pieces. It all of you work is matted and framed, in the cas of watercolor and charcoal, or framed, in the case of acrylic and oils, then you best bet is to get 8X10 photos made of the whole piece. The trend in slides these days is that they do not want the picture to be matted or framed in the slide. A good photographer will be able to crop out the frame. The hardest is to take slides of pictures under glass but it can be done if you don't want to go to the trouble of removing the picture from the frame. you must have had something to show him!... Put it together in a leather portfolio book.
