I did it so long ago, I'm not sure what I did. I do remember that I had difficulty with it, and that it took me a while to get it set correctly. I did copy and paste the paypal html link into the template of my blog, in the links section, I think.

But it took me a couple of months to become "known" enough that people would click on me regularly. It also makes a difference whether you post every day or not. Last fall when I went through a bit of a funk, I stopped posting daily and went to more of a once-a-week thing. My earnings dropped considerably.
There are those on here who make big bucks each month; there are others who earn just enough to cover their subscription, and there are yet others who make very little. Your earnings, at least in my experience, depend on the quality of your posts, the frequency and consistency of them, and your willingness to read and comment on others' posts.
I am not one who has gotten rich, but I do make at least $6 a month, when I am consistent about posting something daily.

The reason why I stick around? I have fun - I get to write a bit, pretend I'm good at it when people comment and when my ranking goes up. The $5.95 (well, a bit more when you convert it to Aussie dollars) is my magazine subscription for the month!

I generally make about $8 to $10 a month here. Of course it's only because of my horoscope blog. Nothing more in depth ever gets read....
