Frair, my two oldest sons visited the Islas while in the Navy and they told
me that many places reminded them of Guadalajara, Mexico, where my second son was born.

There are some places in the Philippines
that would remind you of Mexico. Some of the first friars who came to the Philippines were from Mexico.

Nie's photos are lovely, Friar and I liked the rooster crowing, reminding
me of old Mexico.....and church bells in the mornings....I miss those here in America, telling me what time it is, right in my own home and without a clock to look at.
