sometimes there's always one line that just sticks out

in a scene like that. I still can recall sitting on a bus when a guy was telling a female friend of his about a fight he'd had with his girlfriend (I assume!) and he said, I hated her so much that minnit I wanted to spit on her!" Just the force of his anger, even reflected from an earlier time, left an impression. I think I even made it into a haiku once. tg
