Sadly, akreme, these acts are never truly erased or mended, not
totally.  I appreciate your comment and your analogy.  I had hoped for a more involved dialogue when I wrote this post, but incest apparently is still something most would rather avoid than talk about.  And thanks for the posting info.

Incest - A terrible crime that lasts for many years

I love your informative article.

I am sorry to hear about this 11-year girls death, even sadier of the fact it was her father who did this to her.

What was he thinking? In reality, he wasn't. He only care about his own perverted plesure.

The truth of the matter, the love that we are suppose to have within our family, has cooled off, dramatically.

A friend of mine once explain the devastating affects of incest. Say you would to walk in a museum and see the beautiful Mona Lisa portrait. This in itself is priceless of value(just like that innocent child who gets abused). Now imagine a thief walks in the museum in the dead of midnight and cuts up this portrait in small pieces and leaves it their hanging ( would be molester).

The point to this story is, afterwards, after the crime takes place, just as it would take much patience and time to restore this painting to its natural value, perhaps even years and decades, maybe a lifetime for this portrait to be displayed again in the museum, so goes with the one who got molestated. It takes years of healing and therapy to heal the broken wound.

Incest - It is certainly a crime we can do without.

Thank You.
