From looking at your photograph on the other blog, this is the totally
wrong backdrop for you. It seems that you are displaced due to, I don't know, ... a previous kidnapping that was performed against you successfully because they were able to brainwash you into believing that you are a part of this kind of scene?
I would say, go with a brighter color, such as, um... white? Then perhaps a nice contrasting color to make it easy to read, such as "anything you add to this pure white surface will only make it less perfect - black".
