well, they came up with a lottery about the end of Vietnam, which abolished exceptions for college, etc.
If we had a draft, I would hope they excepted people with families, like they did before and eventually let these people with families go home from Iraq.

He mainly did what a president probably should do -- keep a low profile and let Congress do all the work.
