The world is locked in a terrible vow of silence.
I will tell you what needs to be done, quite plain and simple. The people who knew these adults, and knew of their cruelty and mental instability should have spoken up and had the kids taken away before it escalated to that point. This is my firm and unwavering belief. Where is the father to the kids? The woman's mother? Just as crazy? Afraid to cause trouble, most likely. Listen to Pat Benetar sing

. The horrible abuse suffered upon the little girl in
The Three Faces of Eve is reported (by her doctor ) to have been noticed by himself. He said he 'didn't know what to do about it.' He couldn't believe anyone would do anything that heinous to a child. I would only ask him how he could sleep at night knowing it was happening to her.
