Do you have plenty of....
Mylicon? The stuff's expensive, but if the little sarge develops colic, it'll save your sanity and your kid's life.
As for PPD, you're not in the clear just yet. It can hit any time within the baby's first six months of life. Mine hit just about the time my monthly cycle came on board again, and I was pretty close to suicidal. Of course, I wasn't fortunate enough to have a stable marriage and a husband who really cared about helping me and working through the tough times, so that might have contributed.

Congratulations on the baby Sgt...
I'm glad that your son was born healthy (I can assume because you aren't freaking out and you have been blogging) You seem to be an excellent father and I'm sure he'll turn out alright; I'm gonna have a metaphorical cigar...

She made a comment today
about the lack so far of any post partum depression. She's really enjoying the baby and wants to go for walks as soon as she feels up to it so that she can get out in the fresh air and get some exercise to help even more head off the baby blues.

You're such a good husband. I know your wife appreciates these little things you do each day. You're making it so much easier for her and eliminating much of the stress involved with a new baby. She probably wont have much Post Partum due to your help and attention. I bet she'll brag to the other women later on about this. And they'll all be so envious.
