eye for an eye not the answer
I'm beginning to think of you as the eye-for-an-eye guy. The government's lowering itself to the same level as murderers is not necessarily what justice should be about. Killing someone in "punishment" of his/her killing someone else won't bring the victim back, or deter the level of crime one iota. So what's the answer? I think putting our tax dollars into reforming society, not building more death rows, is a better course of action.
