Write on, Quirky!
I am the same way-- and I do my best to take advantage of it!
The funniest is that I would get Bs and sometimes high Cs on papers that I'd work on for hours and days without end... and then the nights that I'd sit down at 11pm, begin a paper--work till 3, snooze for a few, get up at 7, skip my first class, finish up and burst through the door five minutes late to class-- yep, those are the papers I'd get brilliant A's on! Go figure!
Great post!

Quirky,
like yeah, sanity, I know how difficult the writing craft really is. I write and write and write, but I force myself to do it, like a discipline.
Am I successful at it?? Truly I am, not money wise, not even ego wise, but it sure beats sitting in my chair just doing crosswords, and thinking, thinking, thinking.
At least this way, even if I decide to write about the colour red, that is what's in my head, the colour red. (Hey, see, that's almosta Dr. Seusse) Is that how you spell his name??
Good for you and your craft, teach me stuff luv.
Now write something new otherwise your gonna have about 10 comments from me on this one blog.
