Strangers run screaming in the opposite direction

"Could it be that they were looking for their Mr. Roger's connection?"

(I thought for sure you were going to rhyme!)

I got a kick watching performs come and go and mature and...not.

I wonder if Mr. Spinney (Big Bird) walks around with one arm up in the air permanently?

My problem is...
...these are songs I heard when I was 5! We're talking nearly 30 years ago! When I realized the brain damage I'd suffered, I decided my kids would grow up without Sesame Street. Besides, Elmo makes me sick at my stomach.

C is for Cookie

C is for Cookie and Rubber Duckie are our family theme songs.

It is called being a parent.  You lose half your brain cells at birth, a third of what is left watching Barney and Seasame Street, and I hear the rest go during the teen years.  I'll let you know if I last that long.  My oldest is 11 now.

Actually it gets worse.  At least Seasame Street is cool.  Wait until the japanese cartoons take over your life--Digimon, Pokemon, I can't even tell you the others.  I automatically tune them out.  And I thought the Power Rangers were bad a few years ago, the new ones are worse. Sponge Bob, DogCat.  At least Rugrats is good.
