The comment editing screen is just the same as the post editing screen, so the link function is the same.
Simply highlight the word or phrase you want to embed the link in and then click the hyperlink button - it's on the toolbar above the editing box, second row, second button in from the left. It looks like a world with a chain on it. That button will open up a box that you can put the address of what you want to link to into it.
Alternatively just cut and paste the whole link straight into the post, so it looks like this:
http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/People/Profile.aspx/markd
Which works just as effectively.
